Zlatan Ibrahimovic has long been linked with a move to Major League Soccer and the latest round of reports say he will link up with former Paris Saint-Germain teammate David Beckham.

Ibrahimovic, 34, has just over six months remaining on his current deal with the French champions and with Beckham’s new MLS franchise in Florida expected to begin play in 2017 or 2018, adding Zlatan to the roster this early on may be out of the question.
However, a report from French outlet L’Equipe claims that the former Inter Milan, Barcelona and AC Milan forward has already filed paperwork for a U.S. visa and couple with the fact that he already spends a lot of his vacation time in Miami, people are putting two and two together. Zlatan also has an apartment on Fifth Avenue in New York City, as NYCFC also continue to be linked with a move for the eccentric Swedish national team captain when his current PSG deal expires at the end of this season.
Would Zlatan be good for MLS?
Sure. His box office persona and comments off the pitch combined with his incredible goalscoring abilities on the pitch make him a surefire star in the U.S.
His agent Mino Raiola has said all the options are on the table for Zlatan and the leading scorer in PSG’s history has yet to decide whether or not he will re-sign with Laurent Blanc’s side or move on elsewhere at the end of the current campaign. In theory he could sign for Miami ahead of their MLS entry and then stay at PSG for a few more years a la David Villa at NYCFC.
It’s safe to say Zlatan still has plenty left in the tank, as in his own words: “I am like wine. I get better with age.”
With seven goals in seven Ligue 1 games to far this season and 113 goals in 139 games over the past three seasons for PSG, it is hard to dispute that, Zlatan.
