Meet the woman who has the most 'beautiful' bottom in Brazil:

Curvaceous Suzy Cortez scooped the highly coveted Miss BumBum 2015 title after battling it out in front of 15 other South American beauties in Sao Paolo. Miss BumBum finalists huddle together and celebrate after competition winner Ms Cortez has been awarded her satin sash. 

Speaking after the announcement, Ms Cortez said: 'I've been preparing myself for the past four months. I've always wanted to win this contest. 'I dedicated myself completely. I dieted and did rigorous training.'

Camila Gomes, representing Minas Gerais, came second while Dani Sperle, of Rio de Janeiro, finished in third place. More than 500 women took part in the fifth annual 'rear of the year' pageant, which was whittled down to 15 finalists representing each of the Brazilian states.

To help accentuate their voluptuous figures even more, women taking part in the competition covered their bums in gold glitter

Clearly elated with her win, Ms Cortez is all smiles as she storms the catwalk in front of the other hopefuls and does a lap of honour.

Ms Cortez, from Distrito Federal, Brazil, had been preparing herself for over 'four months's for the contest with a gruelling exercise and strict diet regime



A competitor poses with the Brazilian national flag during the contest as judges search to find the sexiest female rear. The cheeky 'rear of the year' contest reached its climax on November 9 in front of a packed audience and hoard of paparazzi.

Models stormed the runway in an array of glittering two-pieces, jewelled platform heels and heavy eye make-up. Cacau Oliver, the organiser of the contest said: 'The Miss Bum-Bum competition is to elect Brazil's most beautiful bum.'

Although competitors are happy to push their bodies to the limit to bag the title, runner up in the pageant last year, Andressa Urach, nearly died after procedures to enhance her bottom began to rot.

This year contestants had to prove that they had not undergone surgery nor used chemical products. Bottoms are a thing of national pride in Brazil. Some Carnival beauties have even been reported to get their behinds covered by insurance companies.

Models took to the stage in all manner of unusual outfits including one who turned heads in a pink cowboy hat and tasselled top, pictured left, and another who stepped out in a bizarre fur creation, right.

      

Models strutted, squatted and swaggered along the catwalk in front of the audience and paparazzi during the Miss BumBum final.
