Popular Facebook page Doctor Asky encouraged parents to send in candid photos of everyday life, and falling asleep in unnatural positions is just the beginning as parents shared everything from toilet mishaps to explosions of flour in the lounge room. 


An exhausted father who managed to fall asleep in his son's tiny cot has shown what it's really like to be a parent. The hilarious photo shows the bearded man sprawled in the crib - his legs slung over the railing - as his chubby-cheeked toddler held his hand.

Flour power: A little boy appeared ashamed after he covered his parent's lounge in flour.

Don't flush! Finding your child stuck in the toilet bowl is all part of being a parent.

The series of light-hearted photos has been shared more than 306,000 times and received more than 12,000 comments.

While some social media users branded the photos as 'bad parenting', others were quick to agree they perfectly encompassed the reality of parenthood.

'It is so authentically real! So great someone is capturing it in real space! Awesome! Every parent can relate,' one person wrote.
